PRISCILLA SEVERINO (M.B.A.L)

Priscilla is a very passionate teacher with an ambitious nature and demonstrates an ability to bring the best out in ALL her students. Priscilla began dancing all styles of dance at a very young age, and by the time she was 12 had worked with the Disney Production for approx 6 years. For two years Priscilla was the dance choreographer for the Dance Teams at Santa Sabina College achieving outstanding results at the CGSSSA championships. In fact she is known for her funky yet challenging choreography, which due to her past influences is also highly focused on entertainment. Her choreography has won her many awards including 2 showcase choreography awards in 2006 for the junior and intermediate age group, one in 2007 for the junior age group and furthermore her choreography for the routine ‘satellite’ won an award in the 2007 BDA eisteddfod.

In 2002, Priscilla decided she wanted to begin teaching part-time at Komplete Dance Studio. This fuelled her dream to build a performing arts studio in the Roseland’s area, and by the fourth semester of 2002, Komplete Dance Studio became All Starz Performing Arts Studio. With a new owner and new principal ready and enthusiastic to teach and share her passion for dance, All Starz soon made its mark as an award winning, high quality performing arts studio. And so, 2010 continues her journey together with her sister Belinda in expanding their successful dance studio, whilst continuing to offer a fun, positive and inspiring approach to dance.


BELINDA AGOSTINO (M.B.A.L)
Tap Advanced Certificate- Jazz/Troupe/Tap/Hip Hop/Drama and Singing


Belinda has had extensive training since the early age of five in voice and all areas of dance, completing her Advanced levels in Tap (BAL). She achieved outstanding results in her high school certificate for Drama and furthered her interest in theatre by completing open-program classes at NIDA. Belinda further enhanced her training with the opportunity to attend dance and theatrical classes abroad and have vocal lessons with the renowned Seth Riggs and John Fluker. Furthermore she has recorded her own original material with Australian credited producers Paul Begaud and Paul Gray.

Belinda is an incredibly experienced performer having started at an early age as a mouseketeer performing amongst Disney characters in shopping centres, private functions and TV. She has performed extensively in cabaret shows, clubs and high profile venues such as The Sydney Convention Centre, The Cave, Wentworth Hotel, and The Observatory and overseas in countless Lisbon club venues. Belinda has been teaching all styles of dance to students of all ages for over 15 years and enjoys passing on her training and experience to her students.


LINDSAY ELLMAN-BROWN (A.R.A.D)
Ballet


Born in Harare, Zimbabwe, Lindsay started dancing at the Pat Stirling Academy of Dancing at the age of 4 and continued to study there until attaining her Intermediate RAD examination. As a senior student, she assisted with junior classes and began to be interested in teaching as a career. She attended the College of the Royal Academy of Dance in London from 1985 to 1988 and attained her Diploma and Licentiate in the Teaching of Classical Ballet. She went on to teach in Scotland for two years and then returned to Zimbabwe in 1990, to open her own school. This school grew within 10 years to have over 200 pupils at both Grade and Vocational levels.In 1999, she trained as a Royal Academy of Dance Graded Examiner and now travels internationally for the Academy. She has conducted examining tours in South Africa, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Germany and Indonesia.

She was also a member of the National Ballet of Zimbabwe and danced in numerous seasons with them. She later went on to teach the company and choreograph ballets for them, as well as being ballet mistress for several seasons, working with various international choreographers. In 2003, Miss Ellman-Brown moved to Australia from Zimbabwe, to join the faculty at Ecole Ballet Studios, as Junior School Head Teacher.



CATARINA SANTOS
Jazz/Tap/Hip Hop/Ballet/Body Conditioning/Singing and Drama


Catarina Santos has had extensive training in dance since the age of 12 in jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary and musical theatre at All Starz Performing Arts Studio. She has completed the B.A.L tap syllabus achieving honours in all exams and has completed up to level 8 in Glenn Wood attaining a gold award (98%). Catarina has been featured in various video film clips with artists such as Cassie Davis, Nikki Webster & Delta Goodrem. In October 2009 Catarina performed at “Carnival” the choreographer’s ball in Los Angeles, America where she had to opportunity to dance with and for many well known artists and agents. Catarina was also a part of the top 100 from series 3 of so you think you can dance. Catarina is passionate about dance and is driven to bring out the best in all her students and is determined to bring back all her knowledge of the dance industry to instruct and further her students so that one day they too can experience the joy and thrill of dance as a career.


LAUREN SEYMOUR
Jazz/Tap/Hip Hop/Contemporary/Body Conditioning


Lauren has been training from the age of seven in each style of dance. She has completed her RAD ballet exams and received honors in all of her BAL and Glenn Wood tap exams. Lauren completed her schooling from years 7-12 at Newtown Performing Arts High School where she was selected for dance companies each year and achieved band 6 for dance for the Higher School Certificate. Her recent achievements include reaching top 40 of 2010 SYTYCD, Winner of senior dance idol, Showcase Sydney Regional highest scoring art, plus winning numerous prestigious awards in various competitions such as the Sydney Eisteddfod, Showcase National Championships and the Wollongong eisteddfod.
