Sarah began her training at age 4 and at age 9 moved to All Starz Performing Arts Studio where she continued her training until Year 12. As a child, Sarah performed in many shows around Sydney in Westfield fashion parades as well as seasonal dance shows.  In 2013 she completed her Cert IV in Performing Arts at Brent Street.

 

Since then she has moved through different sectors of the entertainment industry. In 2015 she was offered a 14 month contract with The Squared Division performing every Saturday night in shows at ‘Pacha’ at the ivy. This opened up many opportunities in the entertainment industry as she received more contracts from venues around Sydney CBD. Sarah has performed alongside some of the world’s most successful music icons, producers & DJs such as Bow Wow, Martin Garrix, Duke Dumont,  Jax Jones and Peking Duck just to name a few. Over the years she has been involved with a number of social media campaigns for brands such as ‘The Upside’, ‘Alcatel’ and ‘Your Shot’, a DJ competition that she competed in where she learnt how to DJ. Sarah has had opportunities to perform in stadiums in Sydney at some of Australia’s biggest music festivals. She is now works regularly in events as a performer and artist liaison. Recently Sarah has become one of the head trainers for READY SET DANCE and READY SET BALLET where she trains dance teachers across Australia.

Brittany Byrnes

Having enjoyed a 25 year career in Australian film and television, Brittany began her career at age 7 in the classic film ‘Babe’. She went on to star in 3 long running children’s series for network TV, and has guest roles on every major TV drama over many years.

From an early age Brittany was coached in speech and drama at Bradshaw Performing Arts (now Bradshaw Dance and Cheer) and won countless championships in speech, poetry, improvisation and character sketch. She has since become the head of dance and drama teacher at Bradshaw.

Brittany was nominated for a Logie (Best New Talent) at the age of 9, and has also been nominated for an AFI Award (Young Actor of the Year) and an ACCTA Award (Best Supporting Actress) for her most notable role, Disney’s ‘H20: Just Add Water’ for which she is still recognized by children and teens every day.

Brittany has had the honor of working alongside Aussie greats such as Geoffrey Rush, Sigrid Thornton, and even Heath Ledger. She has worked in all aspects of film and TV including drama, comedy, and live preschool entertainment as a lead character on Channel 7’s ‘Toybox’. Her real world experience makes her a well-rounded teacher to suit all needs.

Now a successful and passionate dance teacher and choreographer with clients across Australia, Brittany was inspired by her love of teaching to step away from the film industry in 2019. Her love of teaching and connecting with young students drives her, and she brings not only unmatched experience and knowledge, but a kind and passionate teaching energy to her classes.

Brianna Behrens

Brianna is a qualified and registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance (London) following her successful completion of the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies 2016. In addition, Brianna completed (under scholarship) Certificate of Performing Arts at ED5 International majoring in Dance, and spent 6 months studying in New York at Broadway Dance Centre. She has over 10 years of teaching experience covering a variety of ages from 18 months up to adults. Her styles range from RAD Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary, along with Tap and Musical Theatre.

Brianna is a passionate dance teacher and choreographer but has also performed a number of stage management roles which makes her an all round contributor to her craft.

“I love to encourage students to have a balance of perfecting technique and building self-esteem & confidence, but most importantly to enjoy themselves, I think that is really important. I also love motivating students to be the best they can, in addition to educating them on how they can express themselves through dance, that I hope they carry throughout life.”

Brianna prides herself on creating a fun-filled and nurturing environment where all her students are given professional training, personal attention, and above all – a love for DANCE.

Talia Fowler

Talia’s career has spanned across a wide variety of dance genres and media platforms. She is a classical ballerina having worked for companies – The Queensland Ballet, Ballet BC (Quebec), Madboots Dance (NY), Gregory/Dawson Project (San Francisco), Leigh Warren Dancers (Adelaide), Alonzo King LINES Ballet (San Francisco). Performing both classical & contemporary works, her career taken her to Europe, Asia, Canada and the USA.

In 2009 she was the winner of Season 2 ‘So You Think You Can Dance’. She starred in ‘Fame the Musical’s national tour as Iris Kelly. Throughout the commercial industry she has worked for the likes of Tabitha & Napoleon, Sonya Tayeh, ARIA’s, AACTA’s, X Factor, Australia’s Got Talent, & various music artists. Currently, she freelances as a soloist and pas de deux artist with performances across the international corporate scene. Talia recently performed on the runway for international fashion label BALMAIN.

Her work for Sony Music can be seen in choreography, movement direction and video editing for Timomatic & Pusha T’s music video ‘Delilah’, and Talia can be seen in lead acting roles for Timomatic ‘Parachute’, The Veronicas ‘You Ruin Me’, and Van-ahn Nguyen’s Album ‘Peaceful Piano Essentials’.
Talia landed the cover of Dance Australia, advertising campaign and face of Bloch ‘Heritage’ pointe shoe & guest performances for the Australian Dance Awards, So You Think You Can Dance US, & the World Dance Congress.

In her training she achieved her A.R.A.D Solo Seal and was a part of The Genée International Ballet Competition (now The Fonteyn) and The Prix de Lausanne.

Talia is a now certified coach for Vaganova method training with the Australia Conservatoire of Ballet, and runs an interstate ‘Elite Artist’ Classical Ballet Program. She is a private technique coach and has taught nationwide workshops & masterclasses for the past 6 years. She has also adjudicated solo scholarships, competitions and dance festivals across the country. As guest speaker for organisations ‘Beautiful Mind’s’ and ‘The Halogen Foundation’, Talia has enjoyed becoming a mentor to the new generation.

James Fenwick

James is a household name in our Australian Hip Hop Dance scene. 

Starting as a Krumper/Freestyler, James slowly moved his way into the choreography world. Being primarily self-taught, James has managed to propel himself into a full-time career and is now one of Australia’s most sought after Urban/Hip Hop choreographers.

James is well known for his charismatic stage presence and heavy hitting winning routines, recently both with groups and individually. 

Some recent examples include: Bronze Medal ‘World Hip Hop Championships’ 2012, 1st Place ‘Australian Hip Hop Championships 2016, 1st Place ‘Australian Hip Hop Championships’ 2017, GTB Choreographer of the Year 2012. He was also a part of the cast of ‘The Dream Dance Company’ in 2012. 

James continually pushes his creativity and choreography to new heights and inspires his students to do the same.

Melissa Grech

Melissa began her dance journey at ‘Dance It Performing Arts Studio’ at the age of four until the age of seven, studying jazz, tap, hip hop, and Junior NRL Bulldog cheerleading. She then moved to ‘Glenda Yee School of Dance (GY)’ at the age of eight until the age of sixteen and was involved in several troupe competitions, concerts, workshops, Australia Day performances, flash mobs, dance exams, & corporate gigs such as modelling for Westfields, back up dancing for ‘The Voice Kids’, and being part of the ‘Fidget TV Commercial’. 

Melissa also studied a large variety of dance styles at GY including troupe, jazz, tap, RAD ballet, lyrical/contemporary, stretch and strength, ADA grade work, acrobatics, hip hop, and musical theatre. Melissa was fortunate enough to travel to America in 2012 with GY, performing at Disneyland Anaheim and Universal Studios LA. 

Since a young age she had a deep passion for educating young minds, and at GY she began to exercise this passion by becoming an assistant tiny tots teacher at the age of twelve, a ‘READY SET DANCE’ assistant at the age of 15, as well as an assistant ADA teacher. 

At the age of 16, Melissa moved to ‘All Starz Performing Arts Studio’ though to her graduation at 18 years of age. Melissa continued to study in troupe, jazz, tap, RAD ballet, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and musical theatre and she also continued to partake in many competitions, concerts, and workshops. 

Being a student at All Starz also allowed Melissa to continue teaching READY SET DANCE and READY SET BALLET. Since graduating from All Starz, Melissa is now studying a ‘Bachelor in Primary Education (R.E Specialisation & IB Certificate)’ at the University of Notre Dame Australia; as well as continuing to teach READY SET DANCE and READY SET BALLET here at All Starz.

Lily Jackson

Lilly Jackson is an emerging dance artist from Sydney, Australia. 

Working under countless national and international choreographers, such as Marko Panzic, Stephen Tannos, Cameron Mitchel, Mathew Gode, Cassie Bartho, Taneikah Wescombe, Janelle Ginestra, Nicole Kirkland, Paris Cavanagh, Alex Miedzinski, Zacc Milne, Jade Chynoweth, and many more.

She has worked professionally in Dream Dance Company’s ICON, choreographed by Paris Cavanagh, Stephen Tannos’ We Are Dance Project, the official Instagram, and Guy Sebastian’s ‘Choir’ and ‘Love on Display’ music video, choreographed by Alex Miedinski.

With her developed skills in Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Tap and Ballet she is bound to make her mark on the dance industry.

Shannon Kenmare

Shannon is a 21-year-old dancer, born and raised in Sydney. During her schooling years she attended Westfields Sports High School and trained at Select Dance Co and All Starz Performing Arts Studio up until she graduated in Year 12. Shannon also had the opportunity to be a part of the Locreado Dance Program in 2014.

She has worked for Disneyland Paris as a ‘Character and Parade Performer’ and appeared in a Nickelodeon Junior TV Series called ‘Calvin and Kaison Play Power’. 

Shannon has recently worked with Nikki Webster on the release of the ‘Trolls World Tour – Australia’s Biggest Trolls Dance Party’ as the character ‘Poppy’ and has also performed with READY SET DANCE crew in the live shows as the character ‘Freeze’. She is also a current performer/cheerleader for the NRL Dragons ‘Flames’ and NBL ‘Hawks’ Dance Team as well.

Darren Mapes

Darren is a graduate from Southern Cross University – BA (Contemporary Music).  He is an experienced Actor, Singer and Musician who has over 20 years professional experience in the performing arts.  It is his versatility as a performer that has made him one of Australia’s most sought after vocal coaches.

Darren has coached many Musical Theatre performers, Band Singers and recording artists.  Some successful clients have been cast in Frozen, Hamilton, Shrek, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, Chicago, School of Rock, We Will Rock You, Jersey Boys, The Body Guard, Wicked, Guys & Dolls, Mamma Mia, Cats, Catch Me If You Can, Matilda, Les Miserables, Strictly Ballroom, The Lion King, Fiddler On The Roof, The Boy From Oz, Dirty Dancing and many more.

He has worked as an accompanist/musical director for the likes of Casey Donovan, Debora Krizak, Tamara Jaber, Mary Kiani, Belinda Chapple, Jacinta Gulisano, & David Campbell.

Darren regularly performs and is the creator/writer/performer in one of Australia’s most loved and successful Cabaret shows “The Carpenters From Kempsey”, which has toured Nationally and throughout Asia.  He starred alongside Casey Donovan, Hayley Jensen, Paulini & Doug Williams in the NSW tour of “Back To Bacharach”.  He appeared in Neil Gooding and Matthew Henderson’s production of “Thank You For Being A Friend”, and regularly works as a solo artist and piano bar entertainer. 

For around 12 years Darren was Head of Singing/Acting, and course co-ordinator for the Diploma in Musical Theatre at Brent Street in Sydney.  He was co-founder and director, along with Linda Nagle, of “Sing Over King” in Newtown, for 7 years, and continues to provide specialist coaching for many talented professionals, HSC students, and talented young singers.

Taryn Pascoe

Taryn’s career began as a child in TV commercials and guest roles on television series such as ‘Breakers’, ‘Always Greener’ and ‘Home and Away’. After studying all forms of dance, singing and acting from an age, she graduated from the Brent Street Performing Arts Fulltime course in 2003. In 2004, Taryn began her adult career in the entertainment industry by travelling around the world performing in various children’s shows. At home in Australia, she went on to dance in the feature film ‘Happy Feet’, ‘Boy From Oz’- the musical, starring Hugh Jackman and toured Australia and New Zealand playing the character of ‘Fairy Larissa’ for The Wiggles. Taryn started teaching in 2004 and has continued to teach all styles of dance, singing and acting and is now the head trainer for READY SET DANCE and READY SET BALLET, training teachers all across Australia and New Zealand.

Emma Pilcher

​Emma has multiple degrees and qualifications in teach, strength and conditioning, personal training, sports coaching and pilates. She has been teaching and coaching for 20+ years.

Emma has worked in professional sport and these days is primarily focused in the area of youth coaching and development. She spends a large portion of her coaching hours working with dancers, gymnasts and cheerleaders on strength, total body conditioning with a special interest in flexibility and core strength and stability. 

​ Things that inspire her are other people, other coaches and teachers, and kids – kids inspire her. Emma is motivated by the thought of making a difference in someone else’s life.

John Rouvas

Singing Teacher and Vocal Coach John Rouvas, father of The Voice Australia Season 1 finalist Diana Rouvas, is also a performer in his own right. With a career spanning more than 30 years, John has shared the stage with some of the cream of the Australian Music industry and also many internationally renowned artists.

During his career John studied voice with opera great Maria Tauber and during this time was able to apply the principles of that vocal technique to popular music. Inspired by a genuine heart-felt desire to help people find strength in their vocal performance, John soon developed an organic and intuitive approach to singing allowing him to help people refine and bring out the best qualities in their voice.

John has had many years of personal experience as a Cabaret Performer, Musical Director, Song Writer, Band Singer, Guitarist and Singing Teacher, and was also involved in producing music track arrangements for singers and for production shows. His experience also included singing in various harmony groups over the years.

Lauren Seymour

Lauren Seymour is one of Australia’s most loved and respected performers, who is now making her mark as a creative, and assisting some of the world’s biggest names in choreography.

Lauren’s incredible talent and work ethic was showcased in Australia in 2014 on Channel Ten’s So You Think You Can Dance where she took out the runner-up prize as well as ‘Australia’s Favourite Female Dancer’.

Lauren’s performance credits include the hit film Rocketman, Happy Feet 2, ABC’s Dance Academy, Australia’s Got Talent, The Voice and XFactor (both in Australia and UK). She has performed with world-class Artists including Kylie Minogue, Little Mix, Kelly Rowland, Liam Payne, Zara Larsson, Lunch Money Lewis, and French Montana as well as touring with ‘We Are Dance Project’ and ‘The Dream Dance Company’.

Lauren’s choreographic credits so far include Danni Minogue’s After-party Show at the Sydney Mardi Gras, Bonds TVC (2016), the launch of Amway’s XS Energy Drink, Sydney’s ‘Vivid’ Light Festival and Endo & Us, the official short documentary for Endometriosis Awareness (2018).

Lauren is also the assistant of choice to the best of the best in business, including Jason Gilkison for BBCs Strictly Come Dancing (TV show and tour), Matt Lee for The Voice and Dancing with the Stars, Kate Wormald for the ‘The Edinburgh Military Tattoo’ Sydney Show and is currently Assistant/Associate choreographer to Mitchell Woodcock, working with his company New Ground Collective on many high-profile projects.

Lauren’s infectious energy and down-to-earth personality, combined with her fierce passion, talent and ability to bring creative visions to life have allowed her to move from successful project to project in both the Australian and the British entertainment industries.

Felicia Stav

Felicia Stavropoulos is a Sydney based performer. Felicia has trained extensively in all forms of dance, as well as singing and acting, holding a Cert IV in Performing Arts.

In her final schooling year, Felicia became a regular dancer on The X Factor AU for The Squared Division. At such a young age, she was able to gain comprehensive knowledge of dance and performance, working with the Australian industry’s leading choreographers and dancers.

In 2015 Felicia signed with Jeep Management, one of Australia’s leading talent agencies.  Since then, Felicia has appeared on numerous Australian TV shows including The X Factor, The Voice, Australia’s Got Talent and has performed with artists such as Hilary Duff, Red Foo, Kylie Minogue, Dannii Minogue, Betty Who, Havana Brown, Conrad Sewell, Ava Max and Hailee Steinfield to name a few.

Most recently, Felicia had the pleasure of working with Amy Campbell as part of the cast of Opera Australia’s production of ‘Carmen’ at the Sydney Opera House.

Josh Wadley

Josh began tap dancing at the young age of 4 in his hometown Christchurch, New Zealand. He later began training in other styles such as jazz, JFH, hip hop, ballet, contemporary and musical theatre. Josh was able to learn off one of New Zealand’s top tap dancers – Daniel Sintes, before moving to Sydney at age 17 to further his training. In 2016, he gained his Certificate IV in Dance after a year of full-time training at the Village Performing Arts. Josh has performed in several corporate jobs around New Zealand, Australia and China, including the Canterbury Business Awards, the farewell ceremony for the Australian Olympic team and the new Honda Avancier car launch in Beijing, China. He has also performed in shows such as A-Live Entertainment’s “Machismo – Live Dance Show” directed and choreographed by BJ Rorke and Dayton Tavares. Josh placed 1st at the prestigious PACANZ New Zealand Tap Dance Nationals in 2016 out of 60 of the countries best tap dancers. He recently finished a 3-month contract as a Dancer at Disneyland Paris as a part of the “Mickey’s Christmas Big Band” show choreographed by Chris Horsey and directed by Matt West. Dance is his number one passion, and he hopes to continue learning and growing as a professional dancer, performer and teacher.

Mitch Wynter

Mitch Wynter is an Australian based Artist who has trained at Ev & Bow, Dance Force and QNB. He began his journey at the age of 18 performing with the Dream Dance Company’s Show “Enter The Vortex” from then he performed in other Dream shows such as “Untold”, “Prodigy” and currently performing “ICON” not only was Mitch dancing in these shows but he also got to choreograph in some of them. After dancing and teaching all around Australia and New Zealand Mitch landed his first contract with Cirque Du Soleil at Sea and left for 8 months. Mitch performed in the shows “Sonor” and “Viaggio” he was also lucky enough to be the Dance Captain and have the main character in these shows. Mitch hopes to continue training and to keep educating the next generation of dancers.

Jacob Yarr

Jacob has years of experience in teaching, Choreographing and competing on the international stage, and has won numerous world titles. He was a member of the Royal Family from 2012-2014, winning HHI Megacew division 2012 & 2013, and has since collaborated with groups such as identity at Body Rock & Sole fam at Dancers Paradise where they came 3rd 2018 and 1st 2019. Jacob Has Many other accolades including staring in the movie “Born to Dance”, dancing on X factor, dancing with the stars & many more. 

Rebekah Zaloumes

Rebekah started dancing at the age of 4 and moved to All Starz at age 8 where she trained for 9 more years until she graduated. At a young age during her time at All Starz Rebekah was able to perform at amazing events that took place at the Opera house, Easter show and major Football games. She performed as an extra on X-factor and danced in multiple parades at Westfield shopping centres. In 2017 she completed her Diploma of Performing Arts and in 2018 she was part of The Dream Dance Company’s Show Business course giving her the tools to enter the dance industry and become a professional. Some of her recent performing credits include dancing at the 2017 MEA conference, performing on the Today Show for their 2017 Christmas special, dancing for Cher in the 2018 Mardi Gras parade and being a featured dancer for Sikire Australia and Edgii fit active wear in their 2019 new product launch events. Rebekah strives to continue working as a professional dancer and dreams of performing in musical theatre shows. She has become an extremely passionate teacher who takes pride in providing a nurturing and caring environment for young minds to grow and she hopes to pass on her love of dance to all her students .
