Job Description:

Are you passionate about the performing arts and dedicated to helping individuals of all ages reach their full potential? All Starz Performing Arts is seeking a talented and motivated Recreation Coordinator and Troupe Assistant to join our team. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to blend teaching, administrative responsibilities, and event coordination in a dynamic and creative environment.

 

Responsibilities:
 

Teaching: (approximately 20 hours per week)

 

• Conduct recreation and troupe classes, inspiring students with your passion for the performing arts.

• Maintain class standards and ensure quality control to enhance the learning experience.
   

Administrative Responsibilities: (approximately 18 hours per week)

 

• Manage and oversee the recreational team and department.

• Continuously improve class standards and quality to exceed our students' expectations.

• Manage trials effectively, converting prospective students into long-term participants.

• Implement retention strategies to keep our students engaged, committed and exceed targets.

• Play a pivotal role in the creative process for concerts and performances.

• Identify opportunities for up-selling, enhancing our students' experience.

• Act as a trusted advisor to student teachers, supporting their growth and development.

• Manage aspects of competitions, including music, entry logistics, and student communications.

 

Events:

 

• Play a key role in organising and executing concerts, ensuring a memorable experience for our performers and audience.

• Coordinate and manage competition participation, from logistics to performance. 

• Represent All Starz Performing Arts at conventions and networking events, building our reputation and network within the performing arts community.
